Welcome to
CHAS Bradford
CHAS Bradford believes that everyone has the right to a decent home. We were founded in 1965 through two local Catholic Churches, however we are here for everyone in need regardless of their beliefs. Through our services we provide free legal advice and assistance to anyone threatened with homelessness. We also provide free debt advice, money management and support to people who need skills to maintain a home and a budget, providing assistance and education until our client is able to manage their own affairs. Through our Furniture Recycling scheme, families on a low budget can purchase good quality second hand furniture and household goods. Our policy is that no one should have to exist without the basics. Furniture donations also enable Bradford and Calderdale residents to support members of their community and protect the environment at the same time. We aim to provide a holistic service which meets as many needs of our client target group as possible.
